Yes tours the U.S.
Billed the "Masterworks Tour", the band plays a fan-driven set of longer pieces - many of which had not been performed in decades. A fan poll taken on YesWorld is a major influence on the setlist.

Yes -"House of Yes - Live From House of Blues" is released.
This is a live album, recorded in Las Vegas during The Ladder tour.

Yes enter the studio
in Santa Barbara, CA to begin work on their next project. Like "Time And A Word" recorded thirty-one years before, the band is accompanied by a full orchestra.


May, 2001
Yes -"Keysstudio" is released.
This is a collection of the studio tracks from the two "Keys To Ascension" CD's.

July - September, 2001
Yes tour the U.S. and Canada
on what is dubbed the "Yessymphonic Tour". At each show, they are accompanied by an orchestra.

Yes -"Magnification" is released in Europe
(U.S. rel. in December).  It features Yes accompanied by a full orchestra, arranged and conducted by Emmy award winner Larry Groupé.

October - December, 2001
The "YesSymphonic" tour sweeps across Europe,
and includes the first-ever Yes concert in Moscow.

April, 2002
Rick Wakeman rejoins Yes,
and the band announce their "Yes 2002" summer tour of North America.

Spring, 2002
Jon begins work on "The Big If",
his next solo work. As the music is being developed, parts-in-progress are featured on Apple.com. Plans also call for an associated video game based on Jon's "Big If" concept.

June 3, 2002
Jon participates in "United We Sing",
an all-star recording session held in New York City, to benefit children and spouses of September 11th victims.

Yes - "Symphonic Live" is released
on video, featuring the Amsterdam concert of the "YesSymphonic" tour.

The "Yes 2002" Tour
sweeps across America. Fans are delighted as "South Side of the Sky" (from "Fragile") is played live for the first time since the early '70's.

October-December, 2002
The second leg of the "Yes 2002" Tour
takes the band through the U.S., Canada and Mexico.


December, 2002
Yes announce their "Full Circle Tour"
of Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia and Europe starting in February 2003. But Jon fractures three vertebrea in an accidental fall, and band postpones the Asian/Australian dates.
