YES 2002 TOUR - PART 5
Here we go, it's the end of the tour, I saw it all, what happened - crazy, wonderful, special, happy, great fans everywhere, music-wise we were hot, seeing a lot of America this time ‘round, meeting pretty wonderful people, feeling the 'LOVE' more than ever.   We must be doing something right…

Texas gets bigger I think.   Austin was very happening.   It was Elvis's Death Day, 16th of August, there we were on stage.   I was doing my first verse thing with “Magnification" when all of a sudden I thought I sounded like the King himself.   So I shouted to the crowd, “God bless Elvis!”.   They all cheered, Steve struck a groove on his guitar, and I started singing "Warden threw a party in the county jail…" and we were off doing “Jailhouse Rock”.   My legs started twitchin’, the band played as though we all knew it, for that moment I was possessed by Elvis the King himself.   I even finished down on one knee swinging my arm, crazy, crazy.   You should have been there.   Janeee just loved it.

Then there was Santa Fe, what a great vibe.   A big storm happened, but everyone stayed in the rain, cheering like crazy.   We had to finish then start up again, Steve getting rained on... truly this is a great band to be with, Yes survives always.

Thunder and lightning again, so cool, so powerful.   All in all things have been good, a lot of little kids coming to the shows.   They always look very interested, and happy to see their parents digging the band.   I remember seeing my Dad when I was 3 years old, he was on stage dressed in a Scottish Kilt a Hitler moustache, singing and telling rude jokes... everyone was laughing and having a good 'ol time...

Oh yeah, I sang a song here in Los Angeles last night in a studio for the “Young and Restless'” show, it was really OK.   The song was “So Long Ago So Clear", the first song I ever recorded with my Soul-Brother, Vangelis back in ’75.   It sounded great, so maybe people will hear it and want to buy it and I'll have a hit song in the charts, who knows, stranger things have happened

Well, I'm looking forward to getting on with my new projects, going home with my Jane, relaxing a bit.   Onwards and upwards as they say.   Enjoy the day, it's all we really need to do.   Everything else will work out.   Let go and let Love Rule, OK?
